    3.3.1. Customise Table - Display Functions
    This function allows you to customise the display of the data table created. You could pivot the table, remove rows/columns from display, sort the data table using the table columns, or freeze panes for easy reference.
    Partial Display

    Step 1 of 4
    In the Table Customisation and Chart Plotting page, click on the Display menu.

    In the dropdown menu, click on Partial Display

    Note: The Partial Display option will be greyed out if this function is not available for use in the table created.

    The Partial Display popup will display the full table. You may select/deselect the rows/columns you wish to show/hide by holding down Shift or Ctrl and Click on the time periods [1] or the variables names [2]. To select/deselect all columns, click the Select all button [3]. To select/deselect all rows, click the Select all button [4].

    OK [5] to apply the changes and display the resultant table. Click on Cancel [6] to undo all changes. The original table will be displayed.

    Result

    To reselect the rows/columns or show the original table, click on “Partial Display” again and reselect accordingly. Back to top

    Note: You can return the table to its original format by performing another pivot action.

    Custom Sort (Available for Single Table Selection Only)

    In the Table Customisation and Chart Plotting page, click on the Display menu.

    Note: The Custom Sort option will be greyed out if this function is not available for use in the table created.

    The Custom Sort popup will be displayed.

    Note:

    - You can only sort the table by the column variables. By default, the variable name and each time period will be listed for selection.
    Column List

    - If pivot is performed on the table first, the time variable and the variable names will be listed for selection.
    Column List

    - For VARIABLE NAME column, the sort options are: A to Z, Z to A.

    - For TIME column, the sort options are: Newest to Oldest, Oldest to Newest.

    - For all other columns, the available sort options are: Smallest to Largest, Largest to Smallest.

    - To perform more than one level of search, click on the Add Level button [1]. Once a column has been selected, you will not be able to select it for new levels added.

    Column List

    - To remove a sort level, simply click on the Remove hyperlink [2].

    Choose a variable to sort under the Column name drop-down list.

    Choose the order you want the chosen variable to be displayed under the Sort order drop–down list.

    The first column of the data table and the row containing the time period will now be fixed when you scroll horizontally and vertically.
